Robert Forster

Saw Robert Forster last week playing for the Brisbane Music Festival:

They say it better than me..

Seminal Australian musician, singer and songwriter Robert Forster takes a deeply personal journey through his solo recording career of the 90s.

Over three consecutive evenings Robert will reunite the original recording artists to perform three of his solo albums in their entirety.

In what promises to be a landmark event he will complete the four ages of Robert Forster performing a selection of The Go-Betweens songs.

Went alone, as usual, to the first 2 nights. From all accounts the better of the 4 nights. 2nd row from the front on the first night nd 3rd on the 2nd.

On the second night caught up with some people from the 'Go-Betweens Message Board'. If you think I'm a fan, then think again. There was a gil from Ireland, a guy from LA, several people from the UK and 3 drunken kiwi's, all in town for the 4 concerts and then back home again. Thats dedication that I don't have.

We sat around afterward had a beer and tentatively let out Go-Betweens geek out for a rant and then back again.
